So we are under 10 days away from the next school starting. What a blessibg these past two weeks have been for all us staff. God has done many miracles in our lives and the lifes of the students. My role here at YWAM has changed a little I am still in-charge of hospitality and will be supervising this with a team of fantabulous people. I will also be helping to oversea and run the registrar job which includes a lot of emails and communication with incoming students. I am really excited about what God is going to do in this school. We all feel that it will be a school where somethibg big happens, big miracles, big resitution. This is the first time in YWAM history that we are holding a tuition free dts. YWAM Bethlehem is founded on the pioneering spirit and inovative spirit of this land. So a lot of what we do and dream about is made up. A maori proverb says "looking into the future walking backward.' Just do it then look back and see where you can improve or change things. Over the past two weeks we have been learning a lot about being good leaders and seeing how we can actually do this in this day and hour. Learning about change and how it affects everyone, that it is a good thing also that we need it to keep life interesting. Some of the YWAM Bethlehem values for being a leader is get oil- which means keep your relationship with God on fire and commune with him. Thop is very helpful for this. Take responsibility- we need to make sure we are looking after ourselves and others. If you see that the rubbiah needs taking out do it, dont leave it for someone else. And the last one is set the culture- one of the things that we value a lot is being a family and caring and loving on people. This last week we had Frank Naea come speak and inspire us to dream and set a culture of love. He is known for speaking on the Fathers heart. It was amazing to hear his story again and see the love of the father manifested in his life. He inspired us to dream about what we wanted to do in life with or without YWAM being involved. There were ideas of orphanages being started, cafes, schools that involve out-door things like horses and camping. My dream which Ive had since I was about 16 is to open a cafe or something of the sort (Im tossing up between a cafe or bakery) and bringing young people mostly girls but guys can come to to just disciple them and show them skills in cooking. This could be done through setting up a YWAM track/school for this, but I will need to plan and pray a lot about this. Listening to Frank's story again brought up memories and thoughts about my life and how I always thought that I had to do things for God, go to church, attend youth group youth camps, pray and read by bible appear to not sin. But I learnt its not about DOING but BEING the son or Daughter of the King. If i know my identity in Christ that I am loved and have been adopted into his family, then I will act like a daughter, being the person God has created me to be. So instead of doing things because I have to I will do it because i want to, I want to live out my identity that God has predestined me to be. "I know the plans I have for you says the Lord they are plans of a hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11). And if God created this world to be perfect to be good then dont you think he would have planned out what he wants us to do/be? Here's a quote I made up of what we learnt in class: 'Oh the lies of the orphan spirit to do this do that work for Jesus. We are called Sons and Daughters of God we are this all you need to do is BE a daughter a son of God. YOu will do what you see the father doing, like Jesus did. If one son could turn the world upside down, how much more do you think we could Do by BEING sons and daughters of the King.' The other speakers we have had this week have been Marty (a kiwi/US) man that has talked on Hippo-campus and how it stores memories either good or bad and that is what we base a lot of things on. Like going into a friendship with a guy if you havent had any successful ones previously then how can you learn to trust new people. But its about taking the plunge and creating good lasting memories even if you slip up a bit, at least you would have tried and kept going. We learnt about the 6 steps to an apology if you've hurt someone or they have hurt you. 1. Acknowledge that you did it, (even if you didn't mean too, don't justify) 2. Admit (be counter cultural) 3. Apologies (say Im sorry) 4. Ask forgiveness 5. Ask if they will hold you accountable so you don't do this again. 6. Ask if there was anything else. I wish I knew this a while ago I think a lot of my fears or lack of confrontation would have been dealt with appropriately. Im really excited about this up coming school and all that I will learn and grow in. Please will you pray that I can find a job and raise support for this season of my life. Would you also pray about how I can help the staff and students to grow in their faith, giving them a awesome experience of NZ culture while seeking the Lord for guidance and understand on where he wants me to go next. Thanks for reading For His Glory and the Declaration of His Name Renee Pearce As a YWAM missionary I raise support to cover my expenses for basic food, lodging and essentials. In addition from this I also raise funds for overseas mission trips that I'm called to. My budget for my basic needs is $200- 250 per week. My overseas trips vary depending on where I go. One of the challenges that I have as a missionary to my own country is finding out who would support me. In church ministry some are called to be missionaries and others are called to support them. So I would ask you to consider being involved in this ministry with me by supporting me. If you are wanting to support me financially there are three options weekly, monthly or an occasional donation here are a few options of doing this: My own account: 38 90080688728 00 Please indicate your name/or business so I can see where the money is coming from thanks. Also you could click on the link below and do it through YWAM (IWT)which would be a tax indubitable way of giving. http://www.idts.co.nz/payments Which can be tax deductible. (also you will need to email Bryan Andrews at the admin@thop.co.nz email and let him know your full contact details and that you will be wanting a tax receipt. Tax receipts are only given once a year at the start of April when the NZ tax year ends.) Would you also consider being a prayer partner with me, in seeing the ministry I invest in grow to fruition as we walk through our daily schedule, developing and encouraging students to grow deeper in their relationship with God, and in discovering their identity in Christ Jesus. There has been many prophesies that talk about the next generation, and how it will be one of change and going against the normal way of society. I believe that prayer and support is a way of investing into the future generation. Doing a DTS helps shape the minds and hearts of the students to know and to focus on Jesus being the centre of it all. Then mapping their life on the need for daily commitment to the relationship with Christ. Being built on a platform of prayer and intercession while being grounded in the truth of God's word. Then going into the world to express God's heart for the nations through the impact God has had on them. If you want to commit to praying for me would you like an email up date or to be contacted another way. I would love to contact you and keep you up to date on prayer needs, and if you have any prayer requests that I could pray for in my time of intercession I would love to do this as we build a relationship together in encouraging and developing lives on fire for Jesus. I praise Jesus for you that he has called you for such a time as this to love one another and share the love Jesus has for the father and the father for Jesus. That we get the opportunity to be in community helping one another out. Thanks again Renee Pearce P.S. if you want to email me my email is: naypearce23@gmail.com

Prayer is powerful and more importantly, uniting. If you feel further led to be part of what God is doing specifically with this trip and interceding on behalf of this team, please send me an email at lil_rae_of_sunshine@hotmail.com. If you want to know more, ask questions about what is Missions, who is Jesus, or just catch up, contact me. I’d love to hear from you! I am extremely excited to once again have an opportunity like this, and am thrilled especially to be able to help lead a group of individuals who like myself, desperately desire to explore the Heart of God for themselves and others. I am grateful for each of you and the Kingdom I have discovered along the way with you. May the horizons and mystery before you be filled with hope because of the Father who guides your steps!
